Sorry if this counts as a bad bump, but would you prefer if possiable to have custom banners to be places around.
These banners would have a symbol on, just like the first bw1 you can have a secletion of a few, or through hacking make one of your own, what do you think to this idea?
Hey Im not too sure how extreme we would want to go in regards to OGaM. I dont really want it to take over BnW2 as a whole, something that Lionhead did not want to do themselves which is why they made BoTG a seperate game.
Plus its a bit of work to modify the game without knowing if you successfully implemented this or seriously stuff it up, theres so much code in there.
Sorry to sound harsh about this but basically OGaM is to look like LH's approach with BoTG with god hands rather than a floating symbol carrying around trees, rocks etc. However, if the visual effects system can be fixed up, plus all its associated commands and the ability to add new vfx to the game, only then would it be safely possible to implement the use of symbols that represent each god.

Not that I am dissing the fact that you might add rankings, but I dislike them, but others might not, will their be socail matches, and ranked matches?
Ya know I havent had much time to get some insight on the multiplayer side of this but it really sounds like its coming together. It will be rather nice to be able to once again face-off against players from around the world with graphics like BnW2. Heck Id even be surprised if Lionhead had awoken and said something to this.
Althought its not really their fault since Microsoft took over and told them not to, it would be nice to have a few words to Lionhead about why never bothered making BnW2 Multiplayer in the first place rather than leaving the entire thing to players/modders.
Apart from that, its making me look bad that you actually some progress going.
I may have to put in some extra time with the game now since I am currently experiencing technical script conflicts between the Creature Selection and Ship Control. I will not make any promises but shall try my best to get another RC going asap.

Mileos, first MINOR god of OGaM
I have been talking with a team member and we've been working on the very first minor god of the game.
With some documentation on Mileos dialogue, personality and role in OGaM, the voice actor behind him will soon have a first production of speech for testing. If all goes well Mileos will soon be OGaM's first minor god of the game. Truly some good news indeed. He will play a major role in the game as the first one to be encountered by the player.
Actually yes theres quite a few you could do in regards of Mileos.
Basically the intro for the land will introduce the land's history(whatever you want I'll just script that out ), introduce Mileos and his kingdom that grasps the landscape and the current stage of events of the major story(something with the goddess and the player in it and her influence so far).
Oh and the lady players of BnW2 that are interested in or would like to play the role of narrator for the game then please send me a pst with a voice sample.
EDIT: To Kays: I would like to open a new thread to profile gods of the game and anything related to our great deities. Once the dialogue and everything has been confirmed only then will it will be worth to profile him but for the time being I wish to keep this thread open, feel free to remove it if considered spam.
Im not absolutely sure on the details or the background of Mileos or how he managed to get this kingdom/fortress/city but if you would like a fair idea of how he will work I may be able to send you documentation of this god. It includes biography, dialogue lines(as ally and enemy), personality and role.
As for the goddess as an early stage of the game perhaps keeping her appearance out of sight by representing her as a wisp or something.
On a general note, gods in the campaign will have a differing god relations system to that of a generic placeholder deity, the current script will support skirmish maps and multiplayer when versing other players and npc deities.
oh thats excellent. Im glad we are finally moving along, whilst being able to balance a social life.
Presently I am still experiencing issues with some of the scripts. They are so complex that its hard to find one tiny thing that could be causing this problem. :upside
As before I say I need some brain wizzes to help me with the God AI. I do not have the patience to sit down and brainstorm personality actions to be taken by generic gods so I need some people whom shall be appointed as Deity AI Specialists able to use their knowledge to put together detailed and numerous actions that these gods could do overall making them more diverse.

when do you predict the game to be finish?
how's multiplayer going, and will be able for sure to play online with other players for sure? would be awesome
