lol can someone explain the difference of GMT and Eastern to me please? =P i only know eastern... sorry
 
forgot to say i can only be there if my internet lets me...hopefully it won't be messing up -_- anyways! lol wish it was saturday... oh btw if anyone is on these forums would someone mind helping me test mine to make sure it runs properly? like give me an ip address real quick or something =P


forgot to say that i don't mean play a game, just like let me have an ip address and see if it connects lol i hope this isn't too much trouble
 
GMT is the time in England.
It's generally used as a basis to measure other times off of.

example:

5:00 pm Eastern = ? GMT time?

should have made that clearer sorry
 
Eastern time is GMT -5

So 4:00 pm GMT = 11:00 am EST

And 5:00 pm EST = 10:00 pm GMT

I might be available around 5:00 pm ESTto host if no one else is .

Phew, you're in England and you don't know that bit of history. The quest for accurate time.

All time keeping is based of the Greenwich Meridian. Which is an imaginary line that runs from north to south through a specific point in Greenwich England. GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time. Here's a link to some boring stuff about it. :p

I live on the west coast of the USA, so my time is Pacific Standard Time, which is Greenwich Mean Time -8 hours.  I have a party to go to at 2:00PM PST (5:00PM EST), so maybe Kays can take over the hosting then.
