Skin request(s)

http://www.bwfiles.com/files/index.php?action=file&id=18

Unless you really want it to be the neutral colour, I will make a new skin.

Didn't know of it.
Looks much better than the standard Good skin :yes

I haven't tried the Loving Creature miracle.
In game it looks very similar to the Neutral Tiger.
And the bones do not seem to assume unnatural postures.

But the L3D visualizer will show a lot of body morphing between the 2 alignments (Neutral --> Good).
I don't understand. Why is so?

Ciao ciao : )

Hello,

I have confirmation the Gold Tiger skin morphs the Tiger body =/
The L3D visualizer wasn't wrong.
In-game morphing is less pronounced, but quite visible if you cast the Loving Creature miracle and observe the posture of shoulders, neck and head of the pet.
Also placing a Tattoo on her belly shows the geometry of the belly changes as well.

So my request still stands :)

Would you, please, make me a Good Tiger skin that will not morph the body of the creature (nor her color), so that there is no difference between Neutral and Good alignments?

Thank You Very Much In Advance :angel

Ciao ciao : )

Copy the base skin, and rename it good.

That will give the same result.

Black and white isn't on the thingie I am on now, but if I recall it's Tiger2_Base.l3d

Just replace Base by Good, and you will have your skin.

Not at all.

I only know I can cheaply substitute the Good Skin (A_Tiger2_good.l3d) with a renamed copy of the Neutral one (A_Tiger2_base.l3d).
But then the bones of the creature will assume unnatural postures.

As I said, doing so results in bones out of place.
Most animations will play wrong.

But thanks anyway.

Could you be so nice to suply a screenshot or even movie (if you have recording software),

I can't quite see the error or mistake. I myself tried it, nothing 'strange' happend.

But, you want a non morphing to an upright stance, and a non-skin changing good tiger. That is exactly like the base tiger?..

The only way to get that, is to replace A_Tiger2_good.l3d, with A_Tiger2_base.l3d, and rename it A_Tiger2_good.l3d.

I'm sorry that I can't help you any further. I would suggest getting the backup from this site, as it seems your A_Tiger2_base.l3d is corupt, or your Allmeshes.anim.

So I'm running of of skin ideas. I will make any skin below.

Hand skins (Preferably good)
creature skins (preferably tortoise, cow, lion, and tiger)
Eye skins

White Good and Neutral Apes, to go with the White Evil Ape skin.

A Golden Good Turtle (There used to be one but it never got uploaded onto kayssplace)

A Golden Good Sheep (Like the Turtle, there used to be one)

A Golden Good Cow, not just Golden spots on a white cow, a Golden Cow!

Plague Cow, the Evil Cow Skin!

A Gold Striped Good Zebra

A Dark Gray evil Zebra with Dark red (almost black) Stripes.

Right, white skins - that one can be done.

A golden good turtle, can't be difficult! :)

A golden good sheep.. don't they turn gold by nature?..

A gold good cow.. that's gonna be difficult..

I'm not very good at editing the cow in general.. especialy the evil skin.. I tried before.

That can be done.

Sorry.. it's an evil skin, I'm very bad at editing those.

gimme some time, and plague me with PM's, else I will forget.

Ive seen some Eve skins.. I was wondering if it was also possible to get a female lion skin?

I have now uploaded the zebra.

as for the female lion, it is possible. but do you want the lion with no mane, or the lion with eve's mesh, or both?

the lion just with eve's mesh would take 5 seconds to make.

Preferably with no manes.
Ofc. if that would be too much trouble then its also ok with :)

A Dark Gray Evil Tiger!

or

A DARK Red Evil Tiger, like the No-One's Skin Request tiger in the download section only darker.

You can remove manes and hair by removing the C_Ape_Hair.raw and C_Ape_Haira.raw from your Lionhead Studios Ltd\Black & White\Data folder, doing so will not cause any problems playing the game and will simply get rid of that ugly clippy poorly done hair mesh.

Wont that just effect the ape? instead of the lion?

That file is used for all of the creatures. So, removing or editing it will cause all creatures to be bald.  :shocked

Haha ok, then I better leave it there, I just want a more female lion version, the rest I just want to have the hair where it is right now :p

Actually the lion dosen't use a hair file, it's part of it's skin.

Also, if I submit a file that was made by someone else, but i changed it slightly, will i be sued or is that okay? ??? because i want to make the female lion, tiger, and leopard with eve's mesh.

i got eve's mesh of of this site.
