I am making a mod and I need some help with a bug

I downloaded HxD as I remembered that on the web page of the dead website he stated that CHLEX and Chasm were easier to look at than Hex Workshop, so I looked it up and saw that it costs money, so I looked up Hex editors at Wikipedia, found HxD, used it, and found that changing "NorseTotem" to "GreekTotem" did not work.

****!

Has anyone ever changed the .chl successfully?

If not, then Land 2 will have to be skipped. :(

I recall something named the Atlantis Mod,

if memory serves, it's someware here on Kayssplace..

There, perhaps this will help?

Else you could contact the creator.. I don't know if he's still around though.

I believe Patrick Selter is Kratzean, who has only been on a few days ago, reaching him should be easy. I'd ask him; might be wroth a shot.

Personally i can go without Khazar's tutorials, and you dont particularly need to complete them to progress and move to the next land, nor do they help. If i were you i wouldnt go to so much trouble to hear Khazar drone on about what you already know  :D

I am thinking that you need to activate his tutorial to get the worship site, I could be wrong though...

But if that is true then it can not be skipped if you want the worship site.

On the topic of the mod in the first place, via the entire concept... I would think (purely speculative, take it with a grain of salt) that the Norse village is just the one that calls you into the world, and you aren't neccesarily developed into a particular "brand" of god yet... The Norse village is first at hand coming through the gate, so your next village is Norse, as well. Lethys' last village is Celtic, so it is assumed, I would assume, that one might throw that village through from impatients, and if you take the early vortex, then you end p in Lethys' base land, and Lethys' seems to be a Celtic god to me... Land four is just land one hundreds of years later, so the same for land five. At the end of land five, before Nemesis' final village, his Aztec village, ascertaining him as an Aztec god, you take a large Greek village, your last (assuming you play by the expected path; it is usually my second or third on the land, followed by destroying the Aztecs, making for a smooth endgame). You proceed to have to protect this particular village from three quick waves of attacks, after which you do the endgame, destroying Nemesis and, assuming agai a conventional path, this is your largest village. Also, assuming that there ever was another portal, and having found three creeds and become a "true" god, you wouldn't want to identify with Nemesis and his Aztecs, so the Greek village is the closest at hand... Thus, you are really a Greek god.
