How could that effect the citadel!?!

Yeah, I almost provided link to a safe download (as there is a reputable site I know of that distributes cracked versions of old games), but then I was like, "Wait a minute, I'd better not." So I didn't.

But as far as convincing the editors you have the game, just copy over the file you want to edit and the .exe and select the .exe when it asks for your game directory. Since it works even when there is no CD in, any file called runblack.exe and in .exe format should work.

Okapi.....Then why did you not  look in your previous posts, you could have helped a long time ago. If you had bothered.!!
It is easy to do and especially when you  have a PC,  10's checking before posting is all it takes.

Huh? You mean about the "Any file named runblack.exe" part? I did mention that.

Or, make a normal file, and name it runblack.exe so it appears to be the game.

Or are you talking about something else? I think I might have misunderstood.

How can the Mac have and open a .exe when it's pretty much a Window's only file format?  ???
It seems just a bit odd that the Mac version of the game would have a file in .exe format.

Create  a folder called say  FakeB&W
Then  Copy from your Mac Version  the Data Scripts and Online maps folders into it.
This FakeB&W folder when moved to your pc should then  contain all the files you need to be able to  use the editors once the editors have been shown the path. The relative paths stay as in the  original game and should  not cause  loading problems.
.
What I was saying  earlier can be made to work but forget it  as being too difficult,  much easier is get a pirate copy like Okapi offered..
