Zoom out = SLOW

when i play black and white and build a big city and zoom out on it it goes extremely slow. Its also when i am behind a mountain and look to my city its goes slow to, but in my enemies city its not ???

I have a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ 2.0Ghz
and 1022 MB RAM

and i have the latest update for my vid.
 
Its a natural effect in BW1. Have you got the patches installed? If not, try installing them. Also, your city takes up more of the RAM since there are so many more features. Thats why it isnt slow at your enemies city.

If you zoom out fast it goes slow because of all the new information the computer has to take in. If you go to ground level and turn the camera to face the ground, it will go faster.

I mean black and white 2 , it goes slow. Is it because of my processor?
 
It's probably because there's too much going on in your city and the cpu is bogging down trying to keep up. I bet it zooms fine if paused. ???

Doubling your ram or upgrading your cpu will improve it a bit. Also try smaller cities. :p
