Weird symbols

EDIT: Nevermind. After I deleted and let the game replace the appropriate files, I thought, "Must be custom symbols, then." And there were such custom symbols in my profile. Don't know why.

Something I've been wondering this play around, didn't notice before: why do I have the words "CACHE," "REJA," "ARANEAE," AND "RYAKU" as player symbols? Now that I have an account here, I can ask.

For my money, I'd guess that you've got Cache's cheats installed.  I seem to recall some tattoos getting substituted under certain circumstances.  Any chance this is the case?

I don't... think so? I have seen that on the downloads list, but didn't see what it did and didn't install it as far as I know. Anyway, after I figured out to delete the appropriate files, everything went back to normal.

What you forgot to do was  delete all the  leftovers from the previous install. Then you installed to the same path and picked up all the  old crap.

For a true clean install ...............
First uninstall the game
Clean out all folders and files that remain
Clean the registry
Reboot
