Unfortunate problem

Hey,

Just updated my game to 1.20 from 1.10 when on this version it was running perfectly yet now i am on 1.20 my game crashes when moving from one map to another. For example i went to skirmish from land 1 to play extreme growth map and the game closes down. Is this a fixable problem?

My operating system is windows vista.

Having not played this game in a while i do believe that it was the unplayability on my old computer that halted me playing before, hopefully i can avoid this fate.

What Service Pack do you have for your install of Vista?

service pack 1 i believe

All I can think of is to uninstall and then to reinstall the game.

I posted instructions on this thread earlier. It is important to do a defrag before reinstalling.

I didnt bother backing up my save this time so i could use the extreme growth map a little bit from the start, i was wondering if there is any saved games stored on this site for the point when you choose your first creature(just after the gate stones) to save a wee bit of time as i have sadly been unable to locate any.

We don't carry any saves or profile. But if you didn't delete the contents of the Creaturemind folder, then your creature should still be there.

Just a thought is the map installed correctly?
If you enter as in your question  the EG map without  the Dance.lnd  in the  correct folder then the game will crash, this is the same for all skirmish maps that use  extra features like special landscapes creatures etc..

Well i am pretty sure it was installed correctly. I had it working on 1.10 then i upgraded and then tried playing it again. I am back on 1.10 now and it works perfectly.

I have another quick query and i thought it was pointless opening a new thread for; I have just used the leopard creature unlocker but it doesnt seem to be installing properly. I load it up fine after extracting it but when the files start transfering over it closes down. I have already checked if it is in game but unfortunatly it isnt, i tried running it as admin but still no luck.
