As the title says, I've been ding The hermit quest in L1 and it doesn't work. When i bring my creature to him, there is no cutscene. I have all patches and what not ! Whats wrong?

Your creature has to have grown  quite a lot  so this quest is best left until you are ready to leave the land by then he may have grown enough.
Keep him fed, watered and sleep in his pen at night for good growth.

:sorry Umm That isn't the problem. The problem is that when I bring my creature to the Hermit, there is no cutscene saying "He's no bigger than the last time I see'd him" or anything. Bug? :suspect

I usually ignore him. :p

Have you tried clicking on him. You need to get his attention somehow if you have already started the quest and are returning. ???

Or just get your creature to eat him. The reward isn't anything fantastic anyways. Especially if you know what it is already.

This reminds me of a very stupid thing i did.

NEVER...I SAY NEVER! Block a path for an other creature that leads to your victory, I mean in land 1, When the trainer/Big creature is going to tell you to follow after him to the hill, And if you blocked the path with stones...

He will stand still and you cant do anything than just restart the hole game/profile...
It doesnt help to remove the stones and restart runblack...

I just did it becouse i want to know what happened if i put something in this way :P

I suffered a similiar bug altough it took me alot longer to figure it out.

On the very last land, I made a chain of town centres all the way to the spot where the final creature battler takes place (so I could have influence to cast spells on the enemy creature.  Of course Nemisis destroied the structure, but what I didn't relaise was that the plan for the Villager centre was effectively still on that piece of land.  This meant a creature couldn't stand on the same spot.

Wouldn't you believe my luck - I had placed that village centre on pretty much the exact spot my create goes to stand on before the fight takes place.  When the final battle sequence started, the game went into vidoe mode and my creature walked towards the spot.  As the game was in video mode and was waiting for him to properly stand on the spot, it just became stuck.  He was almost there, but he just stood sideways to the camera looking directly at me (would've made a pretty screen shot actually).

I had to kill the game and load from a previous save game.  Man, it took me ages to figure that one out :suspect.
