Are there scripting tools for mac?

Yes and no. Depending on what you want to do.
For actual scripting, probably not. You can script since that is text based. But I think the compiler needs windows.
For making landscapes, again no. Since the various tools are windows based.
But, you can make/alter maps since they are just text files. There is a guide also which is an HTML file so there shouldn't be a problem there. Unless you can't unzip it that is. :rolleyes
