When I played Land 6 as Good, I impressed all the towns without much resistance from the building Japanese brother.  But now that I am playing Evil, he seems to have access to unlimited platoons.  No matter how many of his soldiers I kill off, his main city is guarded by 500+ soldiers.  I even tried the Siren miracle but still can't seem to lower his defences.  Before I trash my city and rebuild to impress him, does anyone have any suggestions?

You could try the old put-lots-of-punishment-spikes-around-the-epic-wonder-and-charge-every-ten-seconds trick :D

With either the volcano or eathquake epics you should be able to destroy enough of his armouries that he can't create as many platoons. If memory serves me correct most of the armouries are fairly close to a wall. And chances are that they won't get rebuilt. You can also damage his wonder with a well placed volcano epic.

I tried FotD's idea and did the following: I attacked the Japanese, and then retreated, drawing them into my influence, then hit them with the Siren miracle.  I did this several times and thinned out his army to the point where I could send in my army and capture the town.  My alignment went from 100% Evil to 99% Evil.:)

Whenever I'm overwhelmed by armies, all I do is fireball a tree, pick it up, and hold it over the armory\soldiers and watch their heath go down. And when they stop losing heath, just get rid of the trees. One tree should get rid of at least one platoon, or damage a armory beyond repair. Its very easy, and you only lose a tree.

Here was my situation at the end of Land 6.  I had increased my influence right up to the last Japanese city by taking over the nearest town and building houses.  But I couldn't figure out how to do anything outside my influence, so I tried luring the Japanese platoons out into my influence to attack them/siren them.  The armories next to the wall that Kays mentioned--how should I have attacked them?  With catapults?  Would that have prevented the Japanese from replacing their troops?  I bought both Siren and Hurricane, should I have waited and bought Earthquake/Volcano?  Just to know for the next time I try playing the game. :)

You can use the epics outside of your influence. Just not inside the other player's influence. The second time I went through the game I got the volcano epic and discovered that on most lands it was possible to damage to enemies epic with it. If set next to a wail with armouries it will destroy both the wall and the armouries. Neither of which get rebuilt so this can be done at any time not just when you attack.

Once an armoury is damaged it can't recruit troops. So if there are still intact armouries left, use either you creature or catapults to damage as many as you can when you do attack.
