Patch and Download Creatures...

Alright, onto Land 2!

But I got some issues I want to resolve before I start a new game as an evil deity. I was not too enthused that the creature breeder never had any new creatures, even though I downloaded all 4 of them!  And the creepy voice saying "death" over and over as Nemesis torched my village was, well... creepy.  Wasn't patch 1.1 supposed to fix that?

Are my issues caused by running as Administrator (the only way I can get BW1 to work) or just having 7 as my OS?  Loading screen says the patch is indeed 1.1 so that's alright.  Should I update to the second Patch version?

I have BW1 installed on Windows 7 and the creatures unlocked for me.  But that was after I installed the game in the directory suggested by Sylcai in the pinned thread above.  And I have both Patch 1.1 and Patch 1.2 installed.

With the patch, you'll still hear "Death" being uttered. It's just not as often as with an unpatched  version.

Yay!  Solved the problems by taking the game out of XP compatability mode.  BTW, the horse rocks!  :yourock:  And the leopard looks awesome when evil.  He's strong, fast, and inherently bad...  I gotta go play!! *grinning hugely*
