Hello everyone! I have some graphical problem...i just bought a new ati hd 3600 and installed bw1 on win xp sp3 and get some distortion on the landscape when i zoom in.....Is this fixable?  :help
 
Can you upload a photo so I can get a better idea on the level of distortion?

And have you played round with the graphics options (for custom, check in where you have Black & White installed and a program called "setup" should be there)?
 
Sorry if I piss on your parade but...........
BW has not been supported now for several years.
ATI drivers for  your graphics card  are in "Legacy" and will not be updated I recently retired  my  HD46xx card after several years good service. 

The good news is  if you run setup in your B&W folder select the custom option set everything to max except resolution.  Then all should be OK.

There are tweaks  to allow  resolutions above  what is allowed in the setup exe  I know 1680x1050 works but the forum that provided the tweaks has  gone.

 
I think the tweak you're talking about is editing the registry?

This thread here has the relevant details, including tested resolutions.
