If your creature is small then you want him to sleep at his pen, but what do you do when he gets old and big and he won't grow anymore ?
There aren't any else benifits for sleeping in pen, are there ?
Anyway, that's what i'd like to know. How do you get rid of that sleeping habbit in the pen? I see no point in sleeping there anymore, because it sometimes takes a lot of time to go to the pen 'cuz of the large distances he has to walk when instead he could sleep everywhere, without making me lose time.  :;):

Edit: There's a new question in the 3rd post.

I would say Give him a slap every time he sleeps in the pen. However, i myself find it easier to just have my creature come home rest, and eat and then go back out.

Good luck.

New question fellas:

Let's say that my creature waters the fields, i praise him 20%.
Then he provides wood for scaffolds( or does anything, this activity doesn't matter) and i praise him 20% .
And now i praise him for watering my fields with 20% again.
So the question is:
Does the creature water the fields more now or is it still balanced with providing wood for scaffolds?
Should i praise him for the things i want him to do equally(let's say only 20% and one time only) so that a hierarchy wouldn't be created ?
I hope you get the point.

Yes, if you reward equally on everything, the creature will pass everything as 'same' from what YOU teach it, allowing it's AI / Mind to make up it's own choice, by seeing how much the town rewarded him for such an action. Or if he is rewarded at all.

However, ensure balance! - Do not reward your creature again - as he will see this as 'getting attention' - and will water the fields more.

Just because you reward equally in %, does not mean you do so in count - this is also suggested! ^^

It's just basic knowledge I gained from reading everything on how the creature learns.

Just assume it learns EVERYTHING that is going on. That way, you know what you are rewarding.

This includes such silly things as Distance from Temple, Distance from Influence, How many non-believers are watching me, How many followers are watching me, Time of day... the list is endless really.

This is why the BW1 creature is so wonderfully versatile! :D And also why it is so frustrating to train it! xD It's almost a real pet!
