Greetings, I have a Phoenix server running on my machine for 2-3 days by now and I thought I'll aknowledge it on Kayss forum as well, I also made a post in the Lionhead forums about it which can be located here, it would be awesome when we have enough people we could even play in Teams.
I've never played Online before, but I may be interested in taking part.
I know a lot about this game, as you will see on my web site when it is up(give it about a week), and I have been training one of every type of creature for several years now.
This game is just as good as it gets, in my opinion, without being overly complicated or with ridiculous graphical requirements.
I don't know much about setting these things up, though, so I'll have to leave it all up to you.
And, unfortunately, all of my Black and White data is on a computer without Internet compatibilities! Oh noes! I'll have to move everything If we are going to play. Just tell me when. :yes
I'm up for a game at any time it would be cool to have some more players who would be interested to play B&W online. Hmm... maybe we should setup a IRC channel to somewhere that you can even connect to using some web based client in your browser, so who got interest playing it online could join the chatroom and maybe that would make things easier.
Well, the site is mostly about showing off the skins I've made. If people want to download a skin they see, I'll have Kays put it up for me.
Aside from that, I'm also working on a section that uses a rating system to show how well a creature does in certain situations, on average. It's far more than the simple stats that everyone knows about, like strength or speed, too. For example: Did you ever notice that Wolves tend to pay more attention to you than a Cow? They also bring things home more often than any other creature. It's like they are playing fetch or something!
I'll keep in touch with you via PM, to send you a link to the site when its near completion/done, and to discuss online play. If you want, we can talk in Yahoo Instant Messenger, as well. But don't give out my SN information. I have it hidden for a reason...
I have setup a IRC channel on quakenet so whoever is up for game at some point join the chat and let's talk further about it you can connect to the chat channel using this web based client here.
