Hi. I'm very new, so forgive me if my question has been asked before.  :sorry

I've seen screenshots in Black & White 2 where good gods generate flowers all over the grass and trees,  but I've never seen any when I play. Am I missing something? I have a Radeon 3600 Graphics Card, 384 MB Ram and Windows XP. Am I missing something? Does that feature not work with my hardware? Can I work around it? And why is there a llama floating around the screen right now that wants to give me llama points?

Thanks in advance!

It could be due to your graphics cards. If it is a 3600?

Go to Start >> Run and type in dxdiag, the name of your display driver is in the second tab.

Have you got the game patched? ???

Wow, quick response. I'm impressed!

At the moment, B&W2 is not installed at all. I uninstall/reinstall it a lot (I know,  :shocked) depending on if I want the disk space for other games, but when I play I have use the 1.2 patch. And yes, my graphics card is a Radeon 9600 Pro. Does this card not support some features? Because I notice some options in the graphics options in B&W 2 are greyed out. The "blooming" tab is one I remember being unavailable.

The 9600 Pro "should" support blooming. There are several members who do use that card. But you should have both patches installed.

One thing you can try. In the Black & White 2\Data folder is a file called "graphics.config". This controls the video settings. Open it with Notepad and you'll see a line with "9600" on it. Try changing either the first or last number on that line to a "2". Or the middle number to "0".
