Maintaining Objectives

once again i have another (stupid) question.
this time its two objectives "attack only under cover of darkness" in the second japanese land (for some reason it fails the second the land starts) and also the "never lose a villager to war" objective (even after i finish the land i still get NO tribute for it)

well... i did fail the "attack under cover of darkness" objective in this profile the first time in that land.
but that doesn't explain why i didn't gain tribute for completing the "never lose a villager to war" objective

I just have to ask....Why bother with all these stupid tasks that give so little tribute for the effort?
It is far easier to "cruise through" the game and "cream off" the big tribute tasks. Then replay for more tribute if you want or need it.

these little objectives do add up over time.
that is why ill complete every single objective in every single land
so that way when i get to the last land ill not only have a powerfull
epic miracle but everything extra to impress. also that plus i like to
totaly complete games.

one last thing
is there a easyer way to do that "change of heart" objective?
or should i just try staying neutral god until that land
