Mac users need love too

Hello :-)

I am an ex-PC user who used to play B&W on my old desktop. Now I have a new Mac and the B&W Platinum Edition for OS X and am in heaven! I missed the game so much and am happy to be able to play again, and even happier that the community is still around! However, I am having some withdrawal because I can't use any of the wonderful user created mods and applications like Cache Pack X as they are for Windows.

So... my question is are there any mods/apps for Mac? Is there a way to convert the Cache programs to OS X?
 
Hi, welcome back to B&W. :)

As far as I remember there weren't any mods for the Mac vesion. Not that I really paid attention to that version.
 
i think most Mods are for Windows, but you can take all maps and skins for Mac !  :yourock:
 
Do you know if there are Virtual Software to emulate a Windows XP on your Mac.
So you can make Maps, Skins and more with XP?
 
Well, every Mac has a program called Boot Camp that lets you Restart in XP (or Vista) if you have Windows installed. You can also run Windows and OS X at the same time with another program you have to purchase separately. But all of that would require me to purchase XP, which is something I wanted to avoid :angry
 
Unfortunately, all of the tools are geared for windows.
