Vague title I know, but I have been having some issues ever since I uninstalled and reinstalled Black & White on my Windows 7. First things first, what I did:
-I run the uninstallation program. After that was done, I manually deleted any remaining files from the folder.
-Installed the game again in C:\Users\Public\Games\Black & White
-Applied patches 1.1 and 1.2, Football and Village Banter addons and lastly all the Creature Unlockers.
So the following random issues popped up as I was playing:
-The game crashed the first time I tried to enter the Vortex in Land 1. I KNOW Vortexes tend to be glitchy like that, so I reloaded and tried again, this time bringing in fewer objects. It worked the second time.
-The game now freezes at the "Saving" screen any time I quit. It still saves it though, when I run the game again, it brings me right where I was when I quit. This could just be my Windows being stupid.
-I was doing Khazar's Fireball challenge, you know the one where it locks your camera until you torch all the houses. Suddenly, a cutscene happens from another challenge that was still ongoing and when it ends the camera is still locked. I can't move back to the spot where I throw the Fireballs and the challenge can't end until I throw all of them, so I'm stuck there. Entering and exiting the Temple didn't work, so my next idea was to load a previous save. Guess what, suddenly the game freezes when I try to load any of my saves in the Save Room. Restarting Windows, restarting B & W, entering the Save Room again and trying to load one of the saves? Nope, doesn't work either.
Are stupid little problems like that common, or am I just being very unlucky?
