hi, im in land 2 already taken over the greek town now some muffin killing all the children  :angry

what can i do ? when i kill him all in the town die :shocked and when i displace him, he simply return back.

Yeah, this is one of those no-win scenarios.

While the shaman does kill all the children, all the adults live forever.  So I guess it's a tough moral choice there.  Do you kill the shaman, end his Evil, free the villagers from their immortal lives in order to save any furture children or do you allow the status quo to carry one.

There's no clean-cut solution to this one I'm afraid :( .

Move all people out of that town, into an other one.

The Shaman will be left alone, and cry.

Then, you can return all the people. (After safely disposing the shaman.)

It's more a learn thing this one, as the ? sign says "Did you know...  You can move people from one town to an other by picking them up, and placing them near an emty house in the other?"  Or.. something similar.. :p

Or, you could make undead children, by placing them in the singing stone two reward circle ^-^ either way.. upset the shaman, but don't kill your people :p

Bloody hell :shocked !!

After all these years, that's the first time I've heard of that solution.

And it makes good sense :suspect .

I'm half tempted to go installing the game on my new PC just to try that out :laugh2 !

Heres mine as far as a can remember  that village  was in my  allies  realm so I left it alone  "bigger fish and all that".
.
I must have completed the game  50+ times over the years  and never  saw the need to take the village.
You actually have to side step and attack a "friend " to get in that position. Sorry but the whole point of the game is to eliminate the enemy,  for me.
But if you got an extra  hour or 2 game play then that's also good.

Good point, but doesn`t the shaman return again?
Or does he behave like other actors: quest done, turn to villager  :p

Messing around with BW1, I got to the Shaman challenge and tried depopulating the village.  First, I raised the totem to 100% and sent all the villagers to the worship site.  Then, one by one, I relocated them to other villages.  When I went back to the town, the town center said "0 Belief Left" and the only person left was the shaman.  But he didn't do anything until I put him in another town, then he said, "I give up. Who cares about the people?" and the Good Advisor said, "Lovely!" so I assume that was a good solution.

I don't expect to go there again any time soon but  I hope I remember to try that when I do.

Actually, in the beginning, the village is neutral... And yes, this is the solution I tried just earlie, today, and I can verify what Mary said.
