    My Wolf On island 4 will not raise those totems where the cursed villagers are even after i showed it to him again! Its really annoying so i was wondering how other people got their creatures doing that maybe i'll find a good way to do it  :upside
 
First of all, Try teaching him a few times in one of your villages...
Tie him to the totem and shorten his leach, He should begin to focus more on the task at hand... Be ready to raise the other totem yourself as both have to be raised simutaniously.

Thats the worst thing to do !!
You should never give control of your  village totem to your creature.
For the quest you can show him how to raise THAT totem If you feel that you need to but that is it.
Teaching  your creature to raise or lower your village  totem  reduces your control over the way the game plays by around 50%
 
i leashed my creature to one, then i raised the other and kept it up till my creature did the same.
 
What I did... I leashed my creature and raised the one he was on until he did it himself.  THen I just raised the other while he was raising that one.
 
I'm not sure if this was a glitch, but I raised the totem, and paused the game, and somehow raised the other one as well. If it was a fluke... I feel lucky. If it wasn't a fluke, then... well, yay?
 
Try to raise it and keep it up a while, after awhile my creature usually does the same. I have to kep it up ubtill my creature does it too
 
Yeah just raise both in turn and he will eventually  hold his up whle you raise the other.
nd maybe a slight cheat/ influence aid  here is get our creature to convert the tiny village on the nearby cliffs.
 
You can build a town center near the first totem to get influence over it.
 
Oh, I think that's what I did in the first place, or rather, I had enough influence due to another town that I made outright to move it with the hand.
 
i got influence over it the 'hard' way but putting down a Village venter sounds much smater indeed
 
Even smarter is to convert the tiny village on the clifts near the totem chalenge but that is a bit of a spoiler ;)
 
I was so bad on that land 4. I messed up bigtime, but I leashed him to it then pulled my totem up within the time I was allowed out of the infulence.
