I beat BOTG as Good

16 hours over 17 days, with a final alignment of 76.5% Good.  My creature was 100% Good.  I had to be somewhat evil to do this, getting the tribute from taking cities by force, etc.

Nice scores but it seems like you took a long time to do it  are you using all the features of the game to your advantage? I feel you could cut your time in half and raise your "goodness" with a slight change in the way you play.  It could be fun too to play again with different tactics.

I backtracked several times when I found myself in a hole, which was usually because I used up resources.  I tried to stay away from "god building" to conserve resources and waited until my peeps built stuff for me.  I am trying to beat the game as Evil now, but when I have done that I plan to go back and try it again from the beginning as Good and see if I can't do better.

I "God Build" all the time but mostly on wood only buildings ...
