Yup I need help. It's been a long time since I last played this game, almost a year now. My problem is, I've zipped thrugh the game nicely, I'm currently on Land 4 with all of the guardian stones gone and I'm trying to raise the totems. My bug is, Land 5. I remember the creature curse that never used to go away,  however, did Lionhead fix it in patch 1.1 or 1.2? I just don't want monkey to be a permanent knee high giant.  Also, isn't there a village that if you take over you get severely mashed by nemesis? I hope this makes sense, it's been ever so long since I've played this game and I don't want to ruin myself on the last land, like I did so many times before.

Many thanks, Cc

They did fix that bug, but I can't remember about the town getting smashed.  (I can only remember a few things, like the giant shield and the constant megablasts that didn't quite make it to the town I took over)

There's only the meteors when you take over the Greek village that can cause a lot of damage to it. Catch as many of the meteors as you can. The first time I played the level, after the meteor attack, I had only two villagers left in the wrecked Greek village. Rebuilding it was the hardest part as wood is hard to come by. Good luck.

Hehe
Actually i couldn't catch any of the meteors  :laugh2
They destroyed my village '-', i could save just one villager, the one that was in my hand '-'

There is an even easier way out.
Next time you take the Greek village make sure you have a TC scaffold ready. As soon as they convert grab your scaffold and place it on the small island jusat south of the Aztec village it is just within reach until the Wonder is destroyed.
Now the Greeks can be left to die you don't need them or rescue the ones you can if you wish.
The important point is once you have the TC in place you have a base that is within reach of the Aztecs and safely on the far side of the marching megablasts.
This is hours quicker than any other way I have found.

Thanks guys :D I used a method similar to yours Grem,  but I had it placed somewhere different. Anyway, I've been on skirmish recently and I was trying to work out how do some map editing. To save me from making another topic, I was wondering about point and click style editing rather than the somewhat glorified version of notepad which I have been experimenting around with. Any help would be much appreciated  :)

Yes this is an old thread revived but why did nobody mention Worldmod the WISIWIG editor.
