no matter what i do, following everything in every thread about chaging stuff in graphics.config or whatever, fur and grass just wont show. with a lion creature this is 'ok' as i can just say its a lioness, but if i want another game with a wolf or ape etc, then it will look stupid. the trouble is i cant actually find my graphics card on the config file, yet when i run diagnostics and so o neverything is apparently compatible. my card is (according to my booklet)

-Intel 940GML/945GM Integrated graphics controller Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950.
-nVIDIA G72M/MV-128M (factory option)

the computer i use to play is an Advent 7111 notebook PC.

if there is anything else that might be affecting it like prcessors or whatever i can post those as well.

I don't know if you are able to see fur with that card. But one thing to try is to add it to the graphics.config file under Intel.

so how would i add it? just type it in or is it more complicated?

It's a simple text file, just add it and save. :)

Go to Device Manager to get the name of your card (Control Panel  >>  System  >>  Device Manager >> Dispaly Adapters) and use tabs to seperate the numbers.  Just make sure that "Word Wrap" is off.
