Game stalls at the end of credits

I just beat the game and defeated Nemesis on Land 5. The ending plays out and credits roll just fine, but once it reaches the applauding crowd at the end, it never resumes gameplay and I have to force quit the game.

Has anyone experienced this, or know how to fix it?

I installed using a CD, patches 1.1 and 1.2, the fan patch 1.4, and the horse creature pack.

I had a similar issue, I was agressively clicking everywhere for like 10 minutes until the game ended up resuming. Maybe it would work if you just leave it be for 10-20 minutes...?

Try Alt+2 at the end to speed up the clapping and the animations.
