What do these do?  If I wanted to download one, how would I get it to be used by my creature?

You need to add it to a map so your creature can fight against it.

Oh, I get it.  You use it to create a "sparring partner"  for your creature.

Another thing you can do is to write your creature's own mind file into a map so that he's fighting against himself as it were.

In the downloads area is a fight training map with progressively stronger opponents in each level.
