This probably has a really obvious answer...but,

I downloaded all four creature unlockers, but when I go and click on the silver scroll over the creature breeder's hut, all he ever shows me is the mandrill (On both land 1 & 4); is something wrong? Or am I supposed to cycle through them by switching them with my creature or something? Can I only have one unlocked at a time or what?
 
You should see all four of them. ???

Are you using Vista by any chance?
 
This never happened to me, hmmm. Try reinstalling the game and install the special creatures again. Or, maybe you could try just reinstalling the special creatures only.
 
I am using Vista. I figured out to set B&W to run automatically as administrator (I thought just have an admin account would work) so it actually saves; but I don't think this would have an effect. Incidentally, I have reinstalled the game and special creatures, because the game seemed not to run afterwards, though this might have been a usual startup problem (I had gotten the "This program may not have installed correctly" message for each creature unlocker, and I chose to reinstall correctly the second time around)
 
I tried reinstalling just the creature unlockers this time; it seems that whatever the last unlocker I install is the creature that shows up at the creature breeder; but the other three still do not.
 
That is strange. Has anyone else who is using Vista experianced this?

But at least they still work, sorta. Since you can only select one creature at a time, just run the unlocker for that creature before visiting the creature breeder. If you want to swap to another creature then run the unlocker for that creature first. It is a bit of a pain though.
 
It seems like none of the add-ons I install are working properly (or at all except for a single unlocker at a time), I can't build a soccer field (though admittedly, I can't find a possible space for a graveyard even sometimes), I have winamp running and the mp3 addon installed - no controls show up ; I've run the installers as admin and everything. Is there somewhere I can look to see if these things are actually getting installed?
 
The soccer field requires one more scaffold than the game says I believe so that may be your problem there.

As for the MP3 addon, you need an older version of winamp.  Using the current version does not work I believe.  I'm afraid I don't know the correct version off the top of my head.

True, the sign is incorrect. You do need one more scaffold and a lot of room.

The latest version of WinAmp should work. There was a problem with version 3.
 
Vista maybe has some problems with games and stuff..That's why I'm XP. :p
 
Yeah, I tried version 2.94 of winamp; and every number of scaffolds.

Looks like I'm just going to have to deal with it as long as I'm using Vista
