This will sound like a dumb question but how do I switch from one of the original 7 (Ape,Gorilla,Horse,etc.) to the croc? Do I swap some mesh file?
 
Swapping the mesh files is basically how it's done.

But, you can't use CI creatures in B&W. They are different model types.
