Can't unlock creatures

I'm running Vista64. I never tried to unlock the creatures on my previous OS (XP). The breeder never has anything to give me.

Is there a way to manually unlock them?

Have you tried downloading the creature unlocker files?

You can fix this by going to properties, compatability, and run as administrator. This will mess with creature changers (though im not sure about the creature breeder), you may have to go to a skirmish game and manually change it to get it to work
