Cache Pack X Problems + uninstaller problems

after using this thing (the uninstaller) I cant even play then game.............. big problem........  how to handle this thing?

does it make the game crash? i used the creature teacher once and when my creature starts using miracles it hangs....... and about the enchancer........ i put the villager speed x8 but when i go into l2 from l1 nothing changed........ and patch v1.1 does this patch have problems also?after i installed this and while playing it quits to winows............. gosh much problems

I've merged your two topics since they are probably related.

The patch uninstaller was written to restore the game back to the original stated so the Beta patch could be removed and the V1.10 patch installed.

The best thing to do would be to backup your profiles. uninstall the game, delete all of the folders. then reinstall the game, patch it to V1.20 and then see if it will run. Then restore your profiles and see if it will run (you could have a corrupt profile). And then if you really need it install CachePackX.

Btw what is your system? (OS, video card, CPU speed and memory)

so u mean that patch uninstaller makes the version back to v1.10? but after i used that i cant start the game sometimes and when i start , while at the loading screen right bottom corner doesn't have V1.1 written there ........ i tried to installed the patch but in the middle of the installation an error came out  ' the old file does not exist' ........ one more problem...... every time i quit B&W a txt file named Memory Leaks always appear in the B&W directory......... whats that ?

No, it's suppose to take the game back to V1.0.

Originally there was a beta patch which we were using before the release of V1.10. And the uninstaller was suppose remove the old patch and restore the game to the original state so the V1.10 patch could be installed.

The best thing to do is to re-install. At least then you know that are the files are good.

What operating system are you using. Win XP ?

I don't know if this will help you or not. You can check for the hotfix in Add and Remove Programs. It should be listed there.

ya XP........... any problem to do with XP? i backup the whole thing when i first installed but when i copy all back it still cant starts.......... dunno why.......

whats that hotfix fixes?where do i extract it to?mine is sP 2 and when i click on it it says something like no need this no need that.........

If you do have SP2 then don't worry about the hotfix thing. That was resolved with SP2.

Have you tried a complete uninstall and reinstall to see if it will work with a new profile?

ermm............ i will try it later need to reboot windows first........

after playing the game........ Kays did u realize that there is a txt file named as Memory Leaks file that appears in the directory...... what the  heck is that? everytime i need to delete that file only i can start...... is this related to the Cache Pack?

and the enchancer..... how does it work?

That memory leaks file is a part of the game and not Caches Cheats. I don't know for certain, but I believe that when the game was first released there as a memory leak problem and that file was there to log it. I have it in my game directory also.

If it's a part of Caches Cheats, then I can't help since I've never used it.

but with that file i cant start!!!!!!! and u didnt use cache cheat before? but everytimwe i deletes it ,  it comes back again.....
