Black & White patch 1.02 and game bugs

Hello i'm new in this forum and i'm having some trouble with a particular quest, the wolf quest, doesn't matter how i tried to install the game (i test any directory include other partitions and in the public user folder, even tried the cowgod install guide for windows 7), or in which operative system ( i tried with windows 7 and xp) i still can't get the wolf, and yes i'ts patched with v1.2.

In this page: http://blackandwhite.wikia.com/wiki/The_Treacherous_Path, it's said that is necesary to install the patch 1.2 BEFORE ACTIVATING THE QUEST to solve that particular issue, but i have a saved game from before that quest and the ending result it's the same,
as I said above i did install the patch and nothing happen (I haven't test with the option of "last land" because i think the ending result will be the same). Then I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNj03xjtdyg, and I ask myself "How he could finish it??? Does he has an special configuration or it's just his computer???

Okapidragon mentioned in this topic: http://www.bwfiles.com/boards/index.php?topic=4934.0 that the files can be hack, what files???, the creature files or the files for that land in specific?? and more important, Does anybody know how to do it??

It's posible to "fix" this quest using a scripting tool?, if it's posible could someone please tell me how to do it?

And i was thinking about something: it's posible to communicate with any of the developers through the
social networks to ask them if there is any way that this can be solved by the users themselves?

Another question is: do this patch repair the nemesis curse as well, or that keeps happening???

Another question for you guys that know everything about the game or almost everything (without offending anybody I hope) Is there any other bug or such after the 1.2 patch that can damage my game???

And a question for Kays: Can you upload again the files of this topic: http://www.bwfiles.com/boards/index.php?topic=4939.0 please??

The WIKI is  right but to make it easier build you influence up and remove all trees from the path first. Wolves and Ogre as in the Video/Wiki.
I have done the quest several times on different PC's over the years.

No known hack as it isn't needed for most players.

The developers moved on  11+ years ago ........... Lionhead has even closed it's forums, so little chance there.

thank you but i actually did it over and over but i still can't complete it successfully, she always run out of potions can you please upload a save with the wolf open? only open but not selected thank you...

i guess so Appleape, but i already got that page from another topic from this forum and i don't use that stats because in the same page says that those aren't accurate, i prefer to guide myself by the stats on this page: http://blackandwhite.wikia.com/wiki/Creature, i don't now if these are accurate but that page has proof being helpful to me at least.  :)
 
And AppleApe i just saw what you said i the other topic, but do you think that the game of the video that i put on my topic is a mac version??? i will send Kratzean a PM right away thank you. And if he tells me a way then i post it here to ensure that everyone can solve that issue.

Upgraded recently so I have no B&W1 saves available

 
:) Oh I see Gremxula thanks, are those all the files??? I truly didn't know that those files where the same files that the ones I asked for.  :sorry if the previous answer sound rude or something, I didn't try to offend anyone, thanks again.

No. :) I looked at it and the lighting effects for the fireball are there.  On Mac, I do not have these. 
 
Thanks to all, AppleApe kratzean tells me that there is no way to fix the bug through thr use of scripting tools, but he told me a posible solution: I have to start a new game because my saves still got the data from the old version of the game and he thinks that if I start fresh the bug maybe don't happen again, I test this and tell you guys.

Thank you all for everything the other day Kratzean sent me an message telling me that the save games of the old versions are totally incompatible with patched versions and for that reason I couldn't get my wolf, so the other day I Installed a Virtual machine with windows xp and install the game there, then I begun a new game and surprise Kratzean was right, now I have my wolf  :yourock: so thank you all. You :yourock:
