i was talking to Kura and ross under the last game and i propused the idea of makeing

Kayssplace stats for people who play online..

we could put it into our profiles games won and lost ( for the games which is postet / supportet by Kayssplace.com)

What do you guys think?
 
I think there aren't enough games.  It'd take a long time for it to actually get to numbers to "brag" about or anything like that.

But if that's not really a problem, then good idea.  Yay for you!
 
I sorta like the idea but we do need to get more people playing.

One of the things is that you need to rely on the member to input the win honesty. And peole will forget to do so also. Unless there's someone who willing to handle that.
 
i am willing to handle that and it will only be the games which is postet on www.kayssplace.com so after each game each poster will tell who won and dident that way no one can cheat then il make a list of win and lost games ( for those who have played) and then we can give them stats... ;) we could make a hole new Discussion table where people could post games and see stats.. ;)

The other good thing is that people who doesent play that much right now might think the idea is fun and great and makes them want to play
 
I don't really think that's necessary with a maximum of two games per week but still...a foolproof way of determining who won the game would be to provide a screenshot of the whole island right before the end (game time is displayed at the corner). That way you can tell by the remaining influence (or lack thereof) who won the game
 
Well i think that if people have some competesion that makes alot more fun into it ;) thats my point
 
I agree with Kays, we don't have enough people to play, and many people don't even have it installed anymore, like me. It'll make those that don't have it installed and can't find their disks, very jealous. And I personally would rather not like that to happen.
 
I understand that, but still, many people (like me) have lost their Black And White 1 disk, so I CAN'T get on, unless I manage to download it, which I admitedly did try, but didn't succeed. You can go ahead, but... nevermind.
 
Well there are many ways to get online and i do see your problem but.. there are many who just uninstalled it and those i talked to want to install it again just to play and they really like the idea of stats.. its sad that you can find your cd but the plan is that its going to be fun for those who plays and maybe it attacts more players..
 
Well don't let me stop you, I mean it's really Kays' decision, It IS his site, so I can't really make this decision, just giving my two cents on the matter.
 
Myself, I still find it to be a facinating game. If you look around I'm sure that you might be able to find BW1 in the bargin bins somewhere.

I'll support any intiative to try to make online play a bit more popular. Or at least more noticable.
One thing is that I'll have to find or write a script to do this.
 
Well, If we'll go through with this, then we don't need any special code, it could be just a topic post where people will say "I won! I won!". No script needed, but I guess if you want it to look professional, the code may be necessary.
 
I know Kays said no more people should join... :blush But can I?
 
Good news! I found my disc! But probably the only place I can play is Phoenix, cause last time I tried Hamachi, it didn't work. Anyway, I'm a bit to lazy to look around for Phoenix, so if someone has it, please give me the link to get it. And anything else I need to get it running. Thanks!
 
Nice thats good news erm i dont have the link atm ;) but ask kays he has it :D welcome to black and white online lol :p
