Black and Missing Textures

I am running Win98SE, I have a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 with 81.98 Forceware drivers and I am trying to play the original Black & White game with the 1.10 patch installed. The problem is that when I get into the game the the textures are all messed up. The people are completely black, no textures on them at all, the buildings have this same issue. The Game world has missing textures and it flashes and blinks constantly. I have tried multiple resolutions and colour depths to no effect. Can anyone help me with this problem?

For a start, try the V1.20 patch.  It might help.

Try older drivers for the video card.  There seems to be a constant problem with nVidia drivers and B&W
