Alignment resets to 0 upon loading or exiting.

Basically just as the title says.  Any time I exit the game or load a save, my alignment resets to 0.  I just finished my first play through and didn't notice this bug until near the end (I figured I just wasn't being "good enough").

On a side note: has anyone else encountered Lethys taking over the third village from the starting position in Land 2 almost immediately?  I've had it happen a couple of times.
