Addons arent working

The soccer and village banter addons do not work after installing for me.

I cannot combine an 8th scaffold and i dont hear anything when i zoom-in to a villager.

I tryed both the 1.10 and the 1.20 patches but for either they dont work.

What can i do to fix this?

Im using Windows XP SP3

I am having the same problem in vista, banther however does work, it's the football that doesn't.

Sadly, I myself still havn't found a solution.

I think it is a certain flaw in the installation. But, I don't know.

The fact that you can't combine 8 scaffolds gives me the impression that the add-on didn't install. It could have something to do with SP3. But I can't help beyond that.

For the village banter have you tried knocking on a villager's house at dusk and then zooming in?

Yea Vista haz  da game issues, direct x etc. I could recommend ze solution-

Okay the village banter works(but only when i zoom in to a villager leaving his house).
However i still cant combine 8 scaffolds anyone got any idea how to fix this?

Turns out i needed to run the game in Windows 2000 compatibility mode.

That makes sense since when you knock on a house the villagers will vacate it. So it doesn't need to be at dusk then. Just when someone is home.
