I think that the game is far too easy - playing as a good God.
Throughout all the game I've never built any walls or any military building...

All those enemy platoons of any size and skill are killed momentarily with a couple fireballs.
Even on the last land. Provided there are enough worshipers =)
Perhaps the game is much more difficult when playing Evil?.. Might be, might be.

Ah, and concerning the epic miracles - the enemy may cast them even on your territory - I've experienced it on the last land, when I built a Siren Wonder on the very edge of my town, and the Aztec volcano appeared way inside my influence ring  :devil - thus crushing my Sirens and a number of other buildings  :D

Yah, it can be way too easy if your playing the good god. There were several lands which I won and all that I was doing was spending some time making my city look pretty and not paying much attention to anything else.

Part of this is due to the fact that if you're not aggerssive then neither is the opponent. And also that the enemy AI is prety stupid. The aggresivness thing is in one of the balance files and looks like it can be changed to get a more aggressive response from the opponent. But I don't think much can be done about the stupid AI.

I think playing as evil is fun but since I like pretty cities I don't always get to use my military as much as I would like to.

I noticed that too about the volcano on the last land. It's not suppose to do that in your infuence ring. But it does and in the same spot each time, but only once fortunately. So next time just build your wonder in the other corner. I had to go through it a few times so I've got that part down pat.

How do you change the agressiveness because i find the game to be too easy even when playing as an evil god.  IF the enemy would attack me more often than never like it usually does the game would be alot more fun.  I find that a simple wall is all you need, no soldiers, no miracles.  Half the time the enemy forgets to bring a siege weapon and their units just wait oustide of your walls for hours on end.

Yeah, the AI is pretty dumb..
Yet, I know the perfect cure: multiplayer =)
That would solve a lot of problems - and probably make the life of a good God not so light-hearted. Though I do not know what one can oppose to a dozen of fireballs  :) ...

Multi-player could prove to be interesting. Can the good god build up an impressive enough city before the evil god gets a big enough army together to trash it. :D

Right now I think that one of the poblems with the game as it stands is that the infuence required to take most towns is way too low.  This does give the good god an advantage and even if the evil god does succeed in taking one, the good god can still lure the inhabitants to his city.

Indeed...
..considering the AI Epic miracled: I suppose they are all hard-scripted - not only the volcano, but also the japanese hurricane. They all pop up just on the same spot - irrespective of your influence.
I haven't yet tested the japanese earthquake - but probably it's just the same story =)

The japanese don't cast earthquake at all if you've got a big enough influence ring. So nice of them  :D

Except fireballing enemy troops anywhere is considered evil. Even if it's within your green sphere of influence.

Some people like to put down Temples at +1200 prestege each. Others prefer Altars, which only use wood, not ore.

one thing that was really weird is i casted a volcanoe epic right outside my enemies influence and a little thing of light was where i clicked it but there wasn't a beem of light and then there was a sound effect like the epic was canceled and it disapeared. the volcanoe didn't even come up.
