Hello!
I would like to get creative at naming my villagers. I notice that in the base game, random villagers will end up named after one of the game developers, but most of them don't have names. I am trying to work out if it's possible to edit:
a) the list of names the game will choose from when creating new villagers, and;
b) the frequency, i.e. could I mod something so that every villager would have a name?
Thanks in advance! This forum is a fantastic resource, wouldn't have known where to start at modifying the game otherwise.
EDIT: I have had (some) success, messing about with this: http://bawsite.com/infodatsecrets.html - the names are all in Info5 and there's a reference to them in Info2. I have successfully managed to get names of my own making appear in the game (yay!) but (a) it seems to be applying names regardless of sex, (b) all named villagers appear at 0 age, and (c) they are no more frequent than before.
