Landscape editing on a not-so-fast laptop

Hey again. I have another problem. Although B&W2 runs fairly decently on my laptop with the correct visual settings, the landscape editor lags to no end. I disable a great number of rendering options, even hiding the water altogether. However, movement is choppy and laggy. With animation and bloom on, it's far worse.

Is there a way I can make the landscape editor more friendly to my laptop, seeing how I plan to spend a great number of hours on the poor thing (both the editor and the laptop)?

Sorry, but other than what you've already done , no.

Although the game is able to gear down for lower spec PCs. Not so for the landscape editor. LHS used decent PCs so there was no need to add that into the editor.

you could try going    settings >> constant update      and make sure it is disabled, which may help you a little although it seems to update each time you move the camera so it will likely still appear choppy  :(
