i dont usually look at the other pages of the forums on the latest ones anyway im EVIL i conquer and pillage and of course CHEAT!Black & white wouldnt be easy without doing a single cheat
I take a village that is on where the enemy pass and expand it's influence so they can never get to my town. Normally i am pure evil but sometimes its good to build cities; personally ive always found being good slightly tedious, and you cant do anything about their wonders.
im not really good at city building anymore before i was a good god but i focused then on evil and forgot how and when i conquer another city ijust usually build wonders to expand my influence im usually relly on my real city
Normally I just play as good, because I can't seem to keep up having an evil creature in BW2 (since I don't want him slaughtering my own people in it)
But lately I've built up a big-ish city using nothing but skyscrapers for housing, have a ton of granaries/fields/farmers, then I turn half the population into soldiers and take over the remaining towns (usually a few towns flock to me while I build up my slums, for some reason)
Also, I have like... no patience for wonders. Which sucks. I mean, if I'm playing as good I can have a ton of worshippers aronud it, but otherwise I am too busy building slums/armies
Also, I'm finally raising an evil creature again! A cow that can pwn a wolf. Yay!
I gave up on building big cities (well, not GAVE UP, but don't do it much) because the landscape I'm stuck in is always tiny and sloped and stuff so building outwards gets hard ;;
I try not to impress.... If anyone does happen to want to come to my town i either have my creature kill them all or I decline em.
Or if theyre close enough ill just grab em all and put em in the Torture Pit 8D
I start out good for scenario 3 (Abandoned settlement), scenario 4 (Norse), scenario 5 (Japanese 1). This is because I only use Evil if I am up against a heavily fortified enemy. If not it's just easier to impress them.
Then on scenario 6 I slowly shift.
I still build impressive buildings and such but the first thing to go up for me in 6 through final scenarios is the armory (after all the farming and other essentials of course)
Really I gravitate towards good because it's easier to impress villages and you need less micro-management because your'e expanding 1 town only instead of multiple tiny towns.
However I find evil more appealing because its easier to conquer villages. No mindless waiting for your buildings to be built. No mindless waiting for the enemy villages to come to your town. Just make a couple of people factories (1 factory = 3 of each gender working as breeder) and crank out the soldiers through the armories.
I'm not the expansive evil type, I rely most on my main city and as for my conquered cities, i just immediately turn the men there into soldiers. But, i make sure my creature rains havo all the time! :devil
I build a masive metropiless of hovles and torture pits, impress all of the minor towns, while treating my people horribly, then create a masive army to dertroy all opposition.
and then... after the portal to the next land shows up...
I kill EVERYONE (or nearly everyone) before leaving.
