Earning Gold in "Black and White Creature Isle Definitive Edition 0.9b 0.942b"

I'm playing B&W on a nostalgia trip since like 20years 'cause I was curious about the modbase for B&W and i was really surprised.
Anyway... I found this mod and was really excited by new buildings, miracles and all the other new content. But now I'm already on Island 3 and didn't get any Gold.
And I tried to research it myself but can't find anything about how to earn gold in this mod to buy e.g. the Multipickup.
I've read something about a tributsystem for gold or anything but I don't get it. Would a kind god please enlighten me.

Nvm... It seems like I'd just messed up the install process in the first place. After reinstalling everything and starting a new game I now get the messages about completed challenges and the gold. Problem's gone.
