There is nothing in the offical pipeline for B&W2 work in any way, shape or form.
No more expansions
No patches
No ports to consoles (including the 360)
A true/false question doesn't need a poll, so I've locked the poll. If you'd like to start a poll about whether people would like to play B&W2 on the 360, you can create that in a new thread :: .
Now that Lionhead is part of the Microsoft family, that seems much more likely. Although I'm still to be convinced how a game with controls like in Black & White would port successfully over to a console ??? :rolleyes .
I've often wondered how they would do the controls if the game did get ported to a console. If anything, I think that the Wii controller might be best suited to the game. But I doubt that will ever happen.
I got it planned. Analog stick to move, right analog stick to look around (like gun games) a to pick someone and hold to throw, pet your creature, slap.
X to gather materials (food, wood) Cast miracles.
No idea for b or y
The problem still being how do you move the hand around in a three-dimensional environment while doing all the above operations. I think they'd have to completely re-think the user interfaces for standard console controllers.
Like Kays said though, the Wii stands the best chance of giving the smae kind of control as a mouse and keyboard :yes .
Theres a fixed cursor in the middle of the screen that you select things with.
Up and down on the left analogue stick moves the camera forwards and backwards
Left and right on the left analogue stick strafes left and right
Up and down on the right analogue stick turns camera up and down
Left and right on the right analogue stick turns camera around.
Left bumper button zooms in, right bumper button zooms out...
Not very fluid motion... But works good for that game.
Hey... dont judge me. I got the game free last summer.
But yea, it is fun though
