I hate the beach ball.
It floats. Bounces on air phasing through solid objects until it bounces into the ocean and respawns in one of the creature pens.
Creature tries to play with it.. and it knocks him over, and he is usually covered in his own blood when he stands back up.

Did Lionhead even test it?
I'm so freaking fed up with this damned thing, I could use a volcano epic on it..
And to make things worse, my creature always seems to lose the teddy bear.
I'd have to throw rocks at my own town to find it at this point, as it has likely been hidden inside one of the buildings.

And so, I come here asking for a miracle.
I know quite a few things can be modified by simply editing text files, so has anyone managed to find a way to fix these ridiculous problems with the ball?

I thought that the dynamics of the ball was fixed with one of the patches. ???

I don't bother giving my creature any of the toys. Since besides being a pain in the butt as you described, they're also quite a distraction.

I thought the physics of certain objects were determined in the balance files? Not sure which ones specifically, but you might wanna take a peek if it bothers you that much, but personally i wouldnt buy one, as Kays said.

When I bought them, I intended to simply give him something to do.
I had played the game before a few years back, but had forgotten how buggy the things are. I'm using the 1.2 patch, and that isn't helping either.

The ball really started getting on my nerves last night, however, as I was trying to get my creature to kick it so that I could examine his leg that I had just reskinned in the light.

He would walk up to it and get knocked over every time, and eventually ended up covered in wounds..

If no one has managed to fix it yet, I suppose I'll have a look at the balance files myself and see what I can do, after I finish reskinning the Wolf.

Edit: For those who are interested, I have included a screenshot of what I have so far.
