I didn't know these were out, but I figuired they will be in a couple more years, all I have to say is wow...
look at this its an Asus Extreme N7950GX2/2DHT/1G Geforce 7950 GX2 1GB

Bloody hell, that is one big graphics card.  I'd be surprised at the machine could hold it :shocked .

Ooo.. and what's the price on it? ???

That is some large card. It takes up two slots so it'll problably hide the connector for the slot under it.  I am curious to know whether the slots in the back are for cooling or just decoration. I just got a Radeon X1900 and it runs quite a bit warmer than my CPU. And I think that this monster will run on the warm side also.

:shocked thats just not fair i already bought a new grafix card and my account is totally drained.... not fair!!!! :cry

Lol, I say you have to be loco :banghead in the head to buy this unless you think you need it. =)
Or your obssesed and want to beat everyones graphics card to gloat ^_^.
If anyone does buy this send me a pic or post it, lol I wana see if its freaking 4d or something.

ill have to find a better pic tho

In any case, I think that graphics card wouldn't do a make a tap of difference to a 256MB card for your ordinary gamer.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but games (and other other software) must be programed to use extra graphics card memory.  As the normal rate is 256MB on graphics cards these days, that's all it'll use.  So the remainder of all that 1 Gig of memory will just go to waste heating up your system.  I imagine you could probably turn off your central heating in the house with that thing on :p .

 yea tell me about it... as far as im concerned  theres no true point in getting it if your an average gamer, its like getting a monster truck when all you really need is a ford F-150  :laugh2

I imagine it's only be applicable to multimedia developers creating flashy presentations and such.  They'd develop on the machine with that card, then create a video of the result.
